Our market (consisting of 17 counties) uses a centralized appointment center. This
means I can get you inside any home, including most For-Sale-By-Owner properties.
Seeing the homes can be a lot of fun. I start the process by laying out the target properties geographically.
Then, I request an appointment at each home, specifying a one-hour time window. We ask the occupants to leave during this
time so you and I can speak freely--which is important, because I really WANT your feedback, both Pro and Con.
For the first tour, we will select three or four homes which are
different, but which still meet your criteria and which are grouped close together. This helps us refine your "wish
list". After this first exploring trip, you'll find that the homes we see are "right on target".
On average, we can view three homes per hour, with gusts up to
four.
When setting appointments, I build in time for
an occasional break for water, soda, and/or restrooms. Along the way, I'll share information about North Carolina real
estate transactions, and I'll point out present and soon-to-come features of the areas under consideration.
When you have selected one to three homes as strong possibilities,
I move into my "investigative" mode--digging into the history of the property, why the owners are selling, property
values in the area, confirmation of lot lines and property title, and more. The goal is to give you the information you
need in order to make the best decision.
